The Indian rupee slipped in the early trade on Thursday. It has opened lower by 12 paise at 68.20 per dollar versus 68.08 Wednesday. Kotak Mahindra Bank said, "Rupee to trade today in a range of 68.10-68.40/dollar."The dollar index strengthen boosted by comments from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and a solid reading on the US consumer price index and industrial output figures that outpaced expectations boosted dollar .
